Hyundai has launched the hybrid and non-hybrid versions of the Kona and Ioniq into the market. The South Korean company also launched a new version of the Accent along with the Palisade. It is one of the first few companies to bring in hybrid vehicles into the Philippines. On the flipside, Hyundai discontinued the Genesis and Eon in the Philippines. The vehicle was the car manufacturer’s entry-level sports car which came in either a 2.0-liter turbo or a 3.6-liter V6 configuration.

Hyundai Philippines currently has two variant trims available for their vehicles. These variants will also vary in terms of the engines powering them depending on the vehicle. The first of the two variants is the GL. The GL trim level is designed to be the entry-level trim, for vehicles that have more than one engine option it usually designates the gas variants. It also is the trim level that has limited features compared to the higher tier trim level. The GLS trim is the top-of-the-line trim level for Hyundai. The GLS variants of vehicles are kitted out nicely, these vehicles get the most features available to the model. GLS variants are also often used to designate diesel variants of vehicles that have more than one engine option.
